A Life That Touched Many
Eric Danner touched countless lives in his 25 years, creating lasting memories with everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Raised in Windsor, Connecticut, and a graduate of Windsor High School, Eric was a beloved member of the community. He built especially strong friendships through the Windsor lacrosse and hockey programs, where his quick wit and camaraderie brought everyone together. He continued forming lifelong friendships at Keene State College, carrying that same warmth and easygoing spirit into every new chapter of his life.
In 2016, Eric passed away from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at just 25 years old.
Throughout his battle with cancer, Eric displayed a remarkable appreciation for life and a wisdom beyond his years. Even during the hardest days, he remained focused on what mattered most: the people he loved.
Above all, Eric cherished his family. He was especially close with his niece, Gracie, who was just a toddler at the time and truly the apple of his eye.
Later in life, golf became one of the activities that brought Eric joy and welcomed distraction. Time on the course with friends offered something precious, a sense of normalcy. On those days, no one cared about the scorecard. What mattered was the laughter, the stories, and the simple gift of being together.
Eric's sense of humor, thoughtfulness, gratitude, and generosity of spirit live on in all of us and in this annual gathering of friends and family who return each year in his memory.
