A Life That Touched Many

Growing up in Windsor, CT and going on to Keene State for college, Eric touched and impressed many people, including family, childhood friends, college friends, and everyone who got to know him. While he passed away from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia too young at the age of 25 in 2016, his sense of humor, thoughtfulness, appreciation for life, and generosity of spirit lives on in all of us.

He was especially close with his niece, Gracie, who was only a toddler and the "apple of his eye". Eric had been a volunteer with the Boys & Girls Club of America in Hartford where he loved to work with young children.

The Tournament's Legacy

Supporting Gracie

Through the fun and competitive parts of our event—Al's World Famous Putting Contest, closest-to-the-pin contests, raffles, and auctions—we continue to support Gracie's college fund, ensuring Eric's love for his niece lives on through educational opportunities.

Mary's Place Partnership

Our official nonprofit status allows us to support Mary's Place, a Windsor-based center for grieving children and families. This organization was listed in Eric's obituary and helped the Danner family during their time of loss, making it a deeply meaningful cause.

Community & Friendship

The tournament brings together Eric's friends, family, and community for a day of golf, laughter, and memories. It's not just about raising funds—it's about celebrating the values Eric embodied: friendship, generosity, and appreciation for life.
